Finally, I finished writing my discussion. Finally, I finished revising my background. After five days’ hard work, finally I finished my mission. What a tough work!
Actually, our group started doing our research later than other groups for some certain reasons. But never mind, we have the confidence that we would not fall behind. Last week, we were free of work for we were waiting for our draft 1 feedback from Mrs. Christine. Then, we waited and waited until we realized that maybe there were so many faults in our draft 1 and we should start writing the remaining parts soon. So after a meeting, we distributed everybody’s work and I would be in charge of writing the part of discussion since the other three all had done other major parts of the report.
At first, I thought that the work would not be so difficult since we had already analyzed the results in the charts. But the fact turned out to be against my expectation. It was really a tough work. I searched quite a little information on the Internet, but the most difficult part was to paraphrase it and made our results reasonable. Last Saturday night, I kept writing until two o’clock in the morning and I got up at about nine o’clock to carry on. I finished my first draft until noon. And by then, I was very tired and sleepy. Then I came to understand that the research report was really a tough job and we should not have relaxed and wasted so much time. Then, this Monday, we discussed it with Mrs. Christine and she gave us a lot of useful suggestions. As time was so limited, I went on my work on Monday evening and at this time I revised a lot. But this was not enough for I had a lot to write. So during the following two days, I carried on writing and writing until I finished it with nearly 3000 words. Finally, I finished… But my work was not finishing, I had to carry on revising my background for Mrs. Christine had already sent back the feedback. So I had no choice but to keep on. Thank goodness, I finally finished all the work and went to bed at about 11 o’clock. I eventually had a chance for a good sleep yesterday after several days’ tough work.
Even so, I know there is still much work in front waiting for us and we must keep on and never waste time again. Though tired, I really loved this experience of doing research. I learned my lesson from it and I appreciate the cooperation among our group members. Carry on, my dear friends, we have already done a good job and I am sure that we will enjoy this experience and finally we will get a good mark.

Work is always hard. But then again no one dies because they work hard. SO it good that you have learnt something from this research work, and that team work cannot be taken for granted. It is only when everyone does his/her part that the work gets done. Also each must be critical in the work. this is the way to look at the work to look for weaknesses in analysis, interpretation and presentation. You can then sit back and say 'We have done our best and this IS good work.'
