Today, after lunch, we went to English Corner which is near CELC. As we went into the room, the people in the community welcome us. We introduced each other. Most of them are Singaporen and they are all students in NUS.Then they introduce the activities in the room. We played a childish game together. We built up a “building” use the boxes which like bricks, then we drew out one of the box in the “building” and put on the top again to see who will make the highest “building”. In the game, we communicated and knew more about each other. They also told us more about Singapore. They didn’t talk much about the English Corner in the beginning but talked about the interesting things and talked about NUS. After we played one more game named “Sequence” together, they gave us the paper to do some questions and write down our contact way.
In the communication with them, I feel they are friendly and helpful. We can also pratice our English. We all have the thought that making a Singaporen friend is good. We can not only learning about each other, but also learn the different culture.
