Reflection on The Story of A Little Girl Called Red

A few days ago, Susie asked me whether I would continue my story about a little girl called red. I told her of course I would. After saying goodbye to her, I considered it seriously. Should I continue to write the story?
If I continue, that means I tell all the readers a lie. If even she does not know what her future will be, how can I know? Her life is still continue, no one can predict who she will come across next moment. A few years later, perhaps she will be a successful businesswoman, or a housewife living an ordinary life. Who knows and who can tell? Only god will know.
I am not an author, and also I don’t want to make up a story. I just want to tell you a true life about the little girl. I don’t need anyone’s compassion for her. Everyone has his own life, no one can tell whether born in a wealthy family is a blessing. Maybe one who suffered a lot in his younger age will be more grateful to what he receives in his future. All that he experienced will turn to be a priceless wealth.
Who cares who the little girl really is? She maybe you, a stranger, or me. Does it matter? I just perform like a guard to lead her in front of you, and let you know more about her. Sometimes I will think about a question. I believe she will also think about it. What does poverty give us? Is money the most important thing in the life? I am not sure whether she will marry a wealthy man in her life or not. But I believe, she will only marry someone she loves rather than consider his money.
It is still too early to talk about this question. Our lovely girl is at the same age like us. There is still a long way to go. She is living among us, right? Don’t doubt, what I said is truth. She can be anyone. And I am the very one that understand her.

  1. I`m not sure why Susie is interested in what happens to this girl. Why is she so special? Is she a true character? How could she "be anyone"? I`m very confused.

  2. Ranbo, you made a very good point. I guess the reason why Susie asked is because we all love a faily-tale ending.

  3. I want to take advantage of this chance to explain why Susie asked me such a question. Maybe she is wondering who the little girl really is. It she who she might know of? I said in my blog that she may be anyone. This means the life of the little girl may happen on everybody. It may not be a specific person, but the feeling of her is the same as those who also have miserable childhoods. When you make friends with somebody, you might not have the chance to know all the things about him. You might even do not beileve until he admit some facts. So I write the story just to express my not-so-mature emotions. Thank you for your comments!
