My Strategies on Learning English

Charlemagne said:” to possess a second language is to possess a second soul.” At the same time, proper strategies play a key role in English learning. Learning strategies refer to the art of planning the most effect way to master what you want to learn.
I overview some of the strategies I have ever used. To start with, one is just talking with classmates in English. We always complain about the scarcity of English learning environment, however, at the same time, we are always too shy to open our mouth. Therefore, I encouraged all my roommates to speak English during daily life. At the beginning, we weren’t able to get accustomed to it and always made mistakes. But changes come to us. Now I reckon our communicate abilities have been greatly improved. Moreover, another one is never feel ashamed when we are wrong. Everyone seems to make mistakes, especially for our green hands. Like Mrs. Yap said: we have to drink water of pool when we learn swim. Only by making mistakes can we get close to the appropriation. Last, we need to have a strong desire on learning English. Ask what you can do for English, don’t ask what English can do for you. Cheer up and don’t lose interests when you confront reverses.
