Since we have been learning English for many years, everyone should have found his or her own learning strategies. Here I want to share my strategies with you.
First of all, a good learning attitude is very important because attitude is everything. However, attitude alone is not enough. I think a rich vocabulary is essential. The most effective way to gain new words is reading. Through reading, you can learn how the words are used and be familiar with them. Then you should try to use the words in various contexts, only in this way can you know whether the words have been appropriately employed.
Listening and speaking are also important. I usually listen to English songs and watch English movies to improve my listening skills. Till now, I think the spoken English is my biggest obstacle, I think I should try to overcome my shyness to practice speaking English with others. “No pain, no gain”. Only through practice can I improve my oral skills.
