Yesterday I saw a film called A Beautiful Mind. It told the story of a famous scientist, John Nash, who won the Nobel Prize for economy. But the process he won the prize was not very smooth.
When he was very young,he had already shown his talent in maths. Then he was accepted by Princeton to study maths. There, he worked hard and soon became very outstanding. But he had few friend except a roommate. They were so intimate that Nash could tell him anything that was deep in his heart. A few years later, Nash became a professor in Princeton. But he didn't like to teach students. He thought it was a waste of his time and he find his life now was very boring. But it was in his class that he met a very pretty and considerate girl, Alicia Larde. They loved each other very much. Meanwhile, a man called William Parcher who said he worked for the Ministry of National Defence found Nash and asked Nash to help find enemy's code from newspapers and magazines to save America from crisis. What's more he had to keep the secret and be very careful. It was an excited job and Nash liked it very much. Then he married Alicia Larde. But Nash's odd behaviors made Alicia very worried. So she called a psychiatrist. After examination, the psychiatrist told her that he had schizophrenia and the roommate and his secret job were all thought of by his mind. Nash couldn't believe it and he was forced to have the treatment and take pills which made him nearly impossible to think. In order to keep studying maths. He stopped taking the pills. Then all the illusion turned up again. But he tried his best to ignore them. Finally, thanks to his great talance and hardworking, Nash finally won the Nobel Prize.
From Nash's story we know that how powerful the interest is. Although Nash was very sick at that time, driven by his strong interest in maths he conquered the problem and kept studying. We are now going to choose our majors. I think the interest should be placed in the first place. Then we can go further in the future.

Thank you for your sharing of the movie. It was a very good movie and I have watched it for several times. Nash was a very great mathematician as well as economist. But what is greater is his efforts to get rid of the schizophrenia. When his illusion came back again, in order to continue to work, he chose to handle the problem by himself. At first it was very difficult. He scolded at the people in his mind when they came to disturb him. But this only made things worse because the more attention you paid to them, the stronger they will be. Moreover, his strange action towards the air made him to be even stranger and others didn’t want to get close to him and always made fun of him. Fortunately, he had a very good wife who stayed with him in his most tough time even though once he tried to kill her. Thanks to her help, he began to try to accept the illusion and just ignore them. That was much easier to say than to do. But he did it. He successfully ignored them even though the illusion would come to his mind now and then. He spent his rest of life peacefully in the university and doing his research. Finally he won the Nobel Prize. I admire him so much and I learnt a lot of things from him. Now when I am very nervous I would think of his way to handle the problem. I will try to accept them and ignore them. I found it is a really effective way to handle nervousness.
