in night safari

During the Chinese festival holidays, I went to the night safari with one of my friends.
I had heard a lot about the night safari. It is unique in the world for it opens on the night. Tourists can either take a tram or walk along a path to see various kinds of animals. ‘ It is amazing!’ I said to myself.
When I was standing at the gate of night safari, I was attracted by the special atmosphere. Following the long queue, we headed for the animal show inside the zoo.
A young lady jumped on the stage. After having arranging seats for some audience, she suggested us to applaud to welcome our animal stars. Unfortunately, it began to rain at the moment. She was a little hesitated, because she knew that it might thunder from time to time. She explained that it was rather dangerous to stay out while wearing microphone. And it might hurt both her and the audience.
All of us felt nothing but a little disappointment. Before long everyone cheered as they found the rain stopped. The young lady leaded many animals to the stage. She required that we should not use a flashlight when we used a camera. For the simple reason that it might hurt animals’ eyes as well as frightened them.
But when the animals appeared, I saw a lot of flashlights around me. I couldn’t help worrying about the lovely animals. The young lady was a little angry. She put emphasis on that problem over and over again. But some people still didn’t pay attention to it.
Finally, the young lady had no choice but to ask help from most kind people. She required that if we saw anyone who used a flashlight, we should help her to point the one out. Just a few seconds after her words, we all saw a dazzling flash. ‘Will others point the person out?’ I wondered. To my surprise, I saw many people turned back and pointed at a beautiful lady. The lady was embarrassed. I was happy to see no flashlight any more since then.
I cheered for not only the well-trained animals but also for most people with good quality. It were they that made Singapore a harmonious country.

  1. Ha ha ha, yes, I guess you can't ignore the power of the masses =) I had a good laugh when you shred this incident in class.

Where do you plan to visit next?

  2. Luckily the animals didn`t go into a frenzy with all the flashes around. All of you wouldn`t have lived to tell the story!
