Why I Like To Learn English

As I'm sort of emotional, I can‘t tell the reasons why I like something without a careful thinking. Thus, to me, this composition is really a tough work. It's a fiction that I'm passionate for English. I just like some small quite glamorous details of English.

We have been learning Chinese since we were born, so coming across with English is really a distinct experience. English words consist of letters, while Chinese uses characters, getting to know a different way of expressing is just like opening windows and embracing with fresh air coming in.

Each note shares the same pronunciation with one particular word in the movie sound of music , which can act as an evidence that at times reading English is like intoning  melody.

In addition, you can get a close look to western culture during the process of reading English materials and learning phrases, puns etc, which I, who am curious about different cultures, appreciate very much.

In communication, English plays an important role, enabling you to make new friends, exchange ideas, etc. Apart from that, English makes you have access to the art of playing with words in western countries. In the world lit up by English words, whose beauties can't be fully conveyed by translation, you can go straightly to the charm of lyrics, poetries, the original works of masterpieces with the help of English, to me it is extraordinarily enjoyable.

Look forward to more enjoyments on English.

  2. Yaxin, you made learning English sound so lyrical I can almost 'see' the outpour of your feelings and thoughts in the form of a beautiful song.

Continue 'composing' this song - I'm sure it will be very beautiful when it is completed.
