In my personal point of view, first,it's not optional but it's compulsory for me.I have to like to learn English.
Nowadays,as it is known to us all, English is so important that I must handle it skillfully if I want to have a brighter future. If I can't speak Chinese,I just can't communicate with the people around me in China;however,if I can't speak English,I can't communicate with the people all over the world.
Another reason for me is that I want to go to Germany in the future. As my German is not very good, and ofcourse to speak Chinese with the locals just like what I do in Singapore is impossible there, the only way I could find out to communicate with them is through English. So ,to reach my goals,I have to learn English well.
I have to learn English, and I have to speak English fluently as well. But if I have no interest in it,that is to say I don't like to learn English at all,it is impossible for me to make it.Undoubtly, interest is always the best teacher in he world. It can motivate me to do something, and with the motivation,I could do anything well.
Then,on the other hand,English is interesting sometimes.I still remember when I was a young boy,my mother took me to study English in a school far away from my home.I really hated it,but I couldn't do anything but obey my mother's order. As the time went by,I gradually found out that English was sometimes useful and interesting, especially when I discovered surprisingy that I understood some words' meaning in some English movies. In fact,to handle English and put it into practice gives me a sense of success.
Finally, learning English can also improve my languange ability, which is good for my personal development. It is vital as well.
As English is so important and interesting, what is the reason for me to hate to learn it?
Thank you for reading

ReplyDeleteI'll keep moving until I reach my goals.
Dear Xiaoning
ReplyDeleteThank you for liking to learn English. I like the way you start your writing with "I have to like to learn English' and the way you end with 'what is the reason for me to hate to learn it?'. Apart from using the Grammar Structure of the Infinitive well, do focus on your Statement and then your Question, which is really Good Motivation for any learner.
