What I want to major in

When I heard many of my friends complain that they have tough time to make options, I also have the same experience. Indeed, it’s a controversial issue. When we pay attention to one field, we need to consider the salary of future, promising or not, and the demands of markets. We also need to care for our interests. To be or not to be, it’s a really question.
So I generally come to realized that we tend to be hesitated if we think more. So why not chose a major what you have interests on? In this way, you can not only enjoy it but also perform well. Maybe you can also be the student of dean’s list.
You cannot deny that you can be the big gun in every field if you strive hard. But it is a truth that you can earn more money in some certain fields than others. Although you need to sacrifice something even more precious than money; you may be exhausted and meet more stress than others, you may be not into it; in return you can get promoted quickly and get larger salary. Life is life. When you need some extra more, you need to pay off.
So I had thought about it for several days. Now I have made a decision and submitted my form to make MOE. Although I am fond of science, especially math, I have to choose engineering as my major.
You may wonder why I betray my own wiliness to choose a major I don’t like. The answer is simple: I am just a man. I am a man who needs to support my parents, take care of my families. When I saw my mum is sitting front of the computer screen all afternoon for making even a little bit more money from stock exchange; when I saw my grandmother is nearly 70 but still work; when I saw my girlfriend working hard for her lessons but still have few opportunities getting a job, I really need to do something for them. I am a man of responsibility, I am a man who prefers to sacrifice my own interests rather than let who I loved suffered from poverty and pain.
Frankly speaking, I adored Mr. Wilson Kan, an elderly man who still has to work for his son’s milk powder. Maybe he is confused by the marriage problem and has to pay the bring-up fee. But the most important thing is that he has fulfilled the reasonability which a father supposes to have even has a tough time (giving us an all day long class is rather a tough job). And I don’t know whether his son can figure out what his father do for him. But it doesn’t matter. I think what he do is just a man deserves to do. A true man is just someone who devotes all his life to who he loves.
Therefore, I am obliged to choose engineering as my major. Now the economy is in glomming. The people who major in engineering tend to be easier to find a stable job with high salary. Although I have some natural drawbacks like my poor ability of manipulating, I believe I can overcome them and perform well. I don’t care whether the ones I love can understand exactly what I think and it’s no necessary to tell them; this is a way for me to return their kind love. At last, I wish I can be chosen into the major I choose.
